Cross City Church is made up of multiple Missional Communities (mc) that are committed to love God, each other and our world together. These MC’s (made up of 8-20 people) gather for a meal once a week, live life together throughout the week, and are sent with a common mission.

To be a part of the church is to be a part of a Missional Community.

On Sunday mornings, at 10:30am in the Schiller Park Community Center, all of our Missional Communities gather to worship God and celebrate what He is doing through our “being” the church all week long.  We also use this time to equip ourselves by knowing the Gospel and understanding how it shapes us.

Throughout the week, our Missional Communities are sent out to “be the church” wherever God has sent them.  The goal of these Missional Communities is to bring glory to God by worshiping Jesus, following Jesus together, and bringing others to follow Him.  Because of this, we have a multiplication vision.  Every year, we desire for each Missional Community to multiply and send out a new Missional Community.

Currently, we have six Missional Communities and hope to multiply to eight over the next year or so.
