The Extremes of Salvation - Colossians 1:13-14
The salvation of God is far more extreme than we first thought. The darkness we were rescued from and the goodness of life under Jesus’ loving kingship are both far more significant than we first understand them to be. The depths of darkness and the heights of light make us appreciate and understand more of why only the blood of Christ could ever save us and did so powerfully.
The Marks of Those Who Embrace God’s Will -Colossians 1:11-12
Paul was confident in the authenticity of the Colossian church. Because of this he actively prayed for the believers of Colosse to know, understand and embrace God’s will, and in doing so would walk in a manner pleasing to the Lord.
